R. Britton Colbert's experience in the hotel industry spans more than 35 years. He has held management positions in some of the nation's top hotel corporations, including ITT Sheraton Hotels and Holiday Inns, Inc. He served as Executive Vice President of Operations for Ken+ Asset Management, a hotel management company representing owners of nine hotels throughout the US; from 1990-92, he was an elected member of the Embassy Suites Owners Association Board and co-chair of the marketing committee. Since 1990, he has provided hotel asset management and litigation consulting to corporations and law firms. He is a leading authority in hotel operations, development strategy, and finance and asset management. Mr. Colbert holds the Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) and Certified Hotel Industry Analytics (CHIA) certifications, and is a member of the American Hotel & Lodging Association.
